Cancer: Larynx Cancer
"I am now on a mission to extend hope and comfort to cancer patients across the globe by sharing my fight and experience in lucid language so they go from being survivors to winners."
With deep gratitude to my oncologist and my friends & family, I am excited to mention I have thrived in life after receiving a Laryngectomee twenty-two years ago. This procedure has given me a unique identity as I use an Electro Larynx to speak. While leading “Moxie” after cancer for more than two decades, I am now on a mission to extend hope and comfort to cancer patients across the globe by sharing my fight and experience in lucid language so they go from being survivors to winners. I am truly grateful to have participated in many motivational speeches, groups, and activities to help spread awareness in the cancer community. It has provided me the opportunity to receive many awards for my dedication and strength to share my fight. Life after cancer has gifted me timeless bonds with many national and international surgical, medical and radiation oncologists. I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Kaustubh Patel and President of FHNOS India who saved my life in September 1997. But what I am truly lucky to have, are inspirational acquaintances with numerous national and international cancer survivors.
