"I want to let everyone know that my God is bigger and that there's power in prayer!"

Take a look at these two photos. This goes to show how quickly things can change in your life. On February 8, 2019 I went to what I thought would be a normal doctor’s visit to get checked for a lump I had discovered in my breast. When my doctor came in she began feeling for the lump and told me immediately that she did not like what she felt. I was scheduled for a biopsy and by February 14, I got a phone call from my doctor saying a cancerous tumor had been discovered in the right breast and that I needed to meet with a cancer doctor as soon as possible to discuss surgery options. Telling our family and friends was the hardest part. I could see my husband’s brokenness. Our boys cried thinking the worst, which wasn’t odd because normally when you think of cancer you assume the worst, but we knew it was up to us to help rebuild their strength and encourage them to see the bright side of things. Later on we met with an oncologist who broke everything down in great detail. I was thinking everything was going to be quick and easy. I’d have surgery, go through a speedy recovery and be back to myself in no time. That was not the case, I learned I would have to go through 6 months of chemotherapy because how big the tumor had gotten and then surgery. I wouldn’t be able to properly care for myself, my husband and our children the way that I used to. I would have to take a back seat and allow my husband to fully take over everything that we balanced so well together.

As I fast forward to today, I want to let everyone know that my God is bigger and that there’s power in prayer! I’m a living testimony that he’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever think or imagine! When cancer showed up in my life, God showed up BIGGER. The doctors said it would take six months to heal me, but God healed me in three months with no radiation needed. June 6, 2019 was my last round of chemotherapy and I have been healed since then. I did it! I am a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR! ❤ #FranklinStrong #survivor
