"My perspective, my understanding of the fragility of life, and my appreciation of the now changed quickly."

My name is Matt Newman. In 2013 I was diagnosed with Grade 3 Astrocytoma at 39 years old. At the same time, my father in law at 62 was dying of pancreatic cancer, and my wife was taking care of our 3 kids under 5. My perspective, my understanding of the fragility of life, and my appreciation of the now changed quickly. I saw life through different lenses. My catharsis became writing. I wrote a memoir that has become a best seller, done TEDx Talk, and speak now all over the country. I am including the links for my book and the Ted Talk. I love to share my story and pay it forward any way I can to let people know they are not alone.
