“Less time in a hospital, and more time at home with your kids and family and whatever you want to do in life is what we should be trying to accomplish for people.”

Dr. Alfred Slanetz, CEO of immuno-oncology start-up Geneius, is researching ways to help cancer patients’ immune systems detect and attack cancer cells. This new therapy is dubbed Targeted DiversiTy and when combined with surgery, it promises to change the difficult process or surgery, drugs and radiation that is the current standard. “Less time in a hospital, and more time at home with your kids and family and whatever you want to do in life is what we should be trying to accomplish for people,” says Slanetz.
